About FlyClaim

We exist because airlines count on you giving up

Fewer than one in five eligible passengers ever claims what they're owed. We built FlyClaim to close that gap for travellers in Eastern Europe, where the odds are worst.

Our story

It started with a rejected claim

In 2019 one of our founders was stranded overnight in Bucharest when his flight to London was cancelled three hours before departure. The airline handed out a hotel voucher and, when he asked about compensation, a form letter citing extraordinary circumstances. The aircraft had in fact been rotated to another route.

It took four months, two escalations and a court filing to recover €400. The legal argument was straightforward. What made it hard was knowing which arguments to make, which records to request, and refusing to stop at the first no.

That's the whole product. We do the part that made a legitimate claim feel impossible, at scale, for passengers who don't have four months to spare.

How we work

Four rules we don't bend

They shape how we price, how we communicate and which claims we take on.

Paid only when you are

Our fee comes out of recovered money and nothing else. If your claim fails, we've simply worked for free.

We say no when it's a no

If a claim genuinely isn't winnable, we tell you rather than keeping you hopeful. A clear answer is worth more than a false one.

No legal fog

Every update is written in plain language, in your language. You should never need to reread an email from us.

A rejection isn't an ending

Airlines reject as a matter of routine. We treat the first no as the start of the case, not the end of it.

Where we work

Built for Eastern European travellers

We handle claims across the whole EU, but our team, our languages and our legal partners are concentrated where our passengers are: Romania, Moldova, Ukraine and the wider region.

Four working languages

English, Romanian, Russian and Ukrainian — from the claim form through to the final legal letter.

Local legal partners

We work with law firms licensed in the jurisdictions where airlines are actually sued, not just where they answer the phone.

5,000+ airlines

Every carrier operating in European airspace, from regional operators to the largest global groups.

Human support

A real person answers your email, usually within six hours, for the entire life of your claim.

Passenger stories

38,000 passengers have already been paid

Real claims, real payouts. These are people who were told by their airline that they weren't entitled to anything.

The airline told me a technical fault counted as an extraordinary circumstance and closed my case. FlyClaim reopened it and had the money in my account eleven weeks later.

I filed for myself, my husband and my daughter in one form. Three separate payments arrived, and I never had to send a single email to the airline.

Missed my connection in Warsaw and landed nine hours late. I assumed the free hotel was the compensation. It wasn't — I was owed €600 on top.

My flight was cancelled the night before departure. FlyClaim explained I was entitled to compensation as well as the refund I'd already received.

Two years had passed and I thought it was too late. It wasn't. The whole process took me about three minutes of actual work.

Denied boarding because the flight was overbooked. The airline offered a €150 voucher. FlyClaim got me €600 in cash instead.
