Our Fees sets out, in full, every price FlyClaim charges you in return for the Services we provide. Please take the time to read it closely.
Before relying on any of our Services, we advise you to read Our Fees, the Terms and the Privacy Statement and make sure you understand them. Questions, doubts or concerns can be sent to support@flyclaim.eu, and our FAQs may already have the answer.
If your Claim concerns a flight that departs from Brazil or has its final destination there, the Brazilian T&Cs may govern your use of the Services, and pricing may follow our Brazilian Price List.
2. DEFINED TERMS
Read Our Fees together with our Terms. Every defined term used here has the meaning given to it in the Terms.
3. SERVICES AT NO COST
You pay FlyClaim nothing for the Eligibility Service or the Information Service, and nothing for the Compensation Service if it does not end with you receiving Flight Compensation.
4. WHAT THE COMPENSATION SERVICE COSTS
Under the Compensation Service, FlyClaim works to recover Flight Compensation from the Airline on your behalf. It runs on a no-win, no-fee basis: while we provide the Compensation Service, you are charged only once the Airline has actually paid us Flight Compensation for you.
The Compensation Service can involve two fees. The Service Fee (also called the Standard Fee) is charged first; the Legal Action Fee is added on top only if we are required to take Legal Action. Both are deducted from the Flight Compensation FlyClaim recovers from the Airline, calculated on its entire amount.

The Service Fee (Standard Fee)
On every Claim where we succeed in obtaining Flight Compensation, the Service Fee equals 35% of the entire Flight Compensation, with applicable VAT included.
The Legal Action Fee
FlyClaim charges the Legal Action Fee only when Legal Action was needed to deliver the Compensation Service. It amounts to 5% of the entire Flight Compensation, applicable VAT included, and is taken from your Flight Compensation together with the Service Fee.
Legal Expenses and court fees
Taking your Claim forward through Legal Action frequently means FlyClaim incurs Legal Expenses and, in some jurisdictions, court fees. In that case FlyClaim covers both the Legal Expenses and any court fees that apply in the relevant jurisdiction. When Legal Action results in Flight Compensation, FlyClaim will ask the court to order the Airline to reimburse those Legal Expenses and court fees, and FlyClaim is entitled to keep whatever the court awards under those headings. If Legal Action is unsuccessful, the court may instead order Legal Expenses in the Airline’s favour; FlyClaim then pays them.
Neither Legal Expenses nor court fees will be charged to you, other than as the Terms provide in their sections on Withdrawal and Termination. Under those sections, FlyClaim may charge you Legal Expenses only if you Withdraw from the Compensation Service once FlyClaim has already started Legal Action, or if you breach the Terms.
Customers in Denmark
For Customers located in Denmark, the Compensation Service fees are fixed amounts. The Service Fee is a fixed sum, usually equivalent to 35% of the entire Flight Compensation.
Likewise, a fixed sum applies for the Legal Action Fee, usually equivalent to 5% of the entire Flight Compensation.

VAT is already included in both fees, the Service Fee as well as the Legal Action Fee.
Customers in Sweden
For Customers located in Sweden: when your Claim is filed with a Swedish court for you, the application fee is paid by FlyClaim in your name. Legal Action may require a Lawyer before the Claim reaches court. The Legal Expenses covering the Lawyer’s time are calculated under the applicable hourly cost standard, which you can read more about here.
Should FlyClaim win your case through Legal Action, it may ask the court to order the Airline to repay the Legal Expenses. Any Legal Expenses the court awards then belong to FlyClaim, offsetting the Legal Expenses FlyClaim paid at the outset. If FlyClaim loses your case, FlyClaim bears the Legal Expenses itself and you owe FlyClaim nothing for them.
Fee for Goodwill Claims
When FlyClaim secures Flight Compensation in a Goodwill Claim, the fee is US$29.99. We waive it if the Flight Compensation is (i) a cash amount below US$30.00, or (ii) non-monetary and worth under 3,000 fidelity points.
5. FEES FOR TRAVEL AGENCY AND CORPORATE CUSTOMERS
The Terms always apply to your use of FlyClaim’s Services. However, if a travel agency, a travel management company or another entity has an agreement with you that gives you different payment terms, or under which it pays FlyClaim for you, the payout options, included Services, fee structure and currency conversion may differ according to that agreement. Whatever it says, the two fees applied to you — Service Fee plus Legal Action Fee — will never add up to more than the total of those fees set out above.
6. HOW MUCH YOU RECEIVE
FlyClaim always pays out to you the entire sum received as Flight Compensation for your Claim, less Our Fees (“Your Full Amount”).
Where European Air Passenger Rights Regulations govern the Compensation Service, Your Full Amount is paid to you in euros (€).
Where any other Air Passenger Rights Regulation governs it, FlyClaim always pays Your Full Amount in whichever currency that regulation requires, or, if FlyClaim offers you the option and you take it, in the currency of the country where you live.
If the Airline pays in some other currency than those described above, the payment provider converts the amount at exchange rates it sets itself or that its partner financial institutions supply. FlyClaim adds no extra bank commissions or charges on top.
The final sum depends on the day the Airline sent its transfer to FlyClaim.
7. PAYOUTS BY INTERNATIONAL BANK TRANSFER
International bank transfers are made through a FlyClaim Third Party at no extra cost to you. Fees or costs that other payment intermediaries or the receiving bank charge you are not covered by FlyClaim, and your own bank may apply a currency exchange fee.
Flight Compensation is usually sent to you in euros (€). If your bank or another intermediary has to change it into another currency, the sum that reaches your account may differ from Your Full Amount. FlyClaim cannot control exchange rates, nor decide how or when amounts are converted while in transit or on arrival.
8. Payment by USD Check
If you live in the USA, you can choose to have your Flight Compensation paid by check in USD. FlyClaim charges nothing extra for issuing the check, but is not responsible for, and does not cover, any fees or costs connected with cashing it.
9. How VAT Is Treated
Unless stated otherwise, every fee and charge listed in Our Fees already includes the applicable VAT.
Should any other language version of Our Fees conflict with the English version, the English version takes precedence.
