What exactly does FlyClaim cost?

35% of the compensation we recover, deducted from the payout. If legal action becomes necessary, a further 15% applies to cover litigation. If we recover nothing, you pay nothing.

Are there any upfront or hidden charges?

None. No registration fee, no admin fee, no charge for withdrawing your claim. Court costs and lawyers are paid by us, win or lose.

How and when do I receive the money?

By bank transfer to the account you nominate, usually within three to five working days of the airline paying us. We'll email you the moment the funds arrive.

What currency will I be paid in?

Compensation is set in euro. We can transfer in euro or convert to your local currency at the interbank rate on the day of transfer, whichever suits you.

Reasons Qatar Airways may give — and why they often fail

These are the responses we see most often. None of them automatically ends a claim.

A technical fault: routine maintenance issues are the airline's responsibility, not an extraordinary circumstance.
Bad weather: only valid if conditions genuinely made your specific flight unsafe, which we verify against meteorological records.
Knock-on delay from an earlier flight: aircraft rotation is a scheduling choice the airline made.
A strike by the airline's own crew: internal industrial action does not exempt the carrier from paying.
You already accepted a voucher or rebooking: accepting care does not waive your right to compensation.
